Abstract

The incidence among soldiers performing military service, higher compared to the civilian population and soldiers performing military service under the contract. Out of the total incidence of more than 50% are respiratory diseases. A high incidence of respiratory diseases can result in the disruption of service and combat missions. There is a high incidence among soldiers of the new replenishment. It is advisable to carry out individual selection in the military to determine the risk of respiratory disease by the method of pulse oximetry. Perhaps the use of pulse oximetry for selection in the special purpose units.
