Abstract

The temperature behavior of Siberian larch tree sap, which is a complex arabinogalactan (AG) - water, has been studied. It is shown that this complex is eutectic and provides high fatigue strength of wood up to low temperatures (up to -60oC), impregnating the capillary-porous system of wood. It is established that the complex AG-water being a natural eutectic solvent also shows the properties of plasticizer.
